The new regulations for Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists in Newfoundland and Labrador are now in force as published in the Extraordinary issue of the Gazette, April 30, 2013. The names of those registered to practice under these regulations are listed under the "members" section of the NLCHP website.

Registration packages for Dental Hygienists are now available from the NLCHP website. Initial registration forms and a How to Complete Guide can be accessed by the Registration/Regulation section of the NLCHP home page.

Please note the deadline for inital registration is May 15, 2013.

The regulations for registration within the province for acupuncturist, medical laboratory technologists and respiratory therapist have been proclaimed as of October 5,2012.The list of registrants can be found in the members section.

Review of applications is ongoing. Applicants who have been approved for registration  will have their names  posted under the heading Members on the web site . The list of approved registrants   will be updated on a daily basis as additional applications are reviewed and approved.

Listing of required documents for registration

The Newfoundland and Labrador Council of Health Professionals (“the Council”) is established under the Health Professions Act (“the Act”).  The Council is currently preparing for the Act to come into force.

An ad was published in local NL newspapers on Saturday March 17, 2012, detailing the establishment of the Newfoundland and Labrador Council of Health Professionals.
